This made me think...

Do we actually know of anyone who's had it or died from it??

I'm pretty sure I have it. Can't say for certain as they aren't testing anymore but my symptoms are:

Dry hacking cough (I've now lost my voice)
Shortness of breath
Sore throat
Earache
Muscle aches and pains
Fatigue

No fever or runny nose.

I have a pretty strong immune system. I haven't had a cold for several years and I don't think I've ever had the flu so it's really unusual for me to come down with something like this.

I'm doing everything that's been recommended. Self isolating from my family, lots of hand washing, using separate towels etc. I haven't publicised it as there's a lot of hysteria out there. Direct family know as we have some elderly parents with underlying conditions but other than that it's on a need to know basis.

As far as work goes I work from home anyway so it's not a major issue for me. Just concerned about making calls as I have no voice!

IF this is CV I presume I'm getting it like the majority of the population will. It's not nice but it is just a fluey type of virus. I'll get better and then, hopefully, will be immune to it.

Not sure whether this helps to allay some fears?

I am not convinced that the Chinese doctors who identified it actually died of it and were more likely “seen off” in other ways. They were treated very badly when it was first revealed.

However, people definitely do have it, someone who works for my employer is in hospital with it, very ill (already has reduced immunity), so it definitely exists.

Does Tom Hanks have enough visibility to satisfy you that there are indeed people ill? Or the minister for health? Of. You can place all your critical thinking on something on the internet that is in bo wat qualified and more likely designed to appeal to certain quarters who would live this to be a hoax or a government co er up.
You believe what you wish, it there is plenty of evidence of people I'll and dead.

Seriously?! It’s simply to do with GDPR - they’re not allowed to divulge any information about Coronavirus sufferers as it would go against their data protection rights.
