Big shop: surely this is sensible not selfish

I don’t mean sweeping the shelves clear of toilet roll - but making sure that your house is sufficiently stocked to be able to self isolate at short notice.

Grocery deliveries is clearly going to be stretched - the virus is imminent but yet to take hold - surely able bodied and solvent people should be encouraged to go in person to do sufficient shopping to last them a few weeks. That way weaker/low income/struggling will find it much safer/easier to shop next week (e.g. shops will be emptier and deliveries will be available). We are not running out of food - but shopping efficiently if we can will help social distancing.

What’s with the judgement of anyone buying more than a Meal Deal at Tesco...?
