Covid
To think I haven’t got covid-19
GA2012 · 13/03/2020 19:37
My partner has been on full blown panic mode about coronavirus.
For the last 2-3 days I’ve had a slight dry tickly throat.
I’ve coughed a couple times but nothing consistent, no fever, no aches and generally feeling fine.
To think I’m fine?
I’ve also had really bad heartburn/indigestion which I believe could be causing the throat issues.
GA2012 · 13/03/2020 19:38
My partner is convinced the throat could be the start of it! But I’ve had this for a few days and if it was surely I’d have a fever and a cough by now?
Reginabambina · 13/03/2020 20:58
I had that a few weeks ago. Assumed it was CV but there’s no way to know without a test. Best to avoid going out over the weekend just incase as it seems you’ve got a cough coming in and may need to isolate.
Wilmalovescake · 13/03/2020 20:58
Fuxake. Just stay home for the good of the vulnerable. It’s a week.
AStarSoBright · 13/03/2020 21:00
I've had a dry thickly throat for two weeks. No temperature and no cough. I'm not staying home.
Alonelonelyloner · 13/03/2020 21:01
My throat is now sore.
I must stay home.
Too many old folk round here. I'll be thinking I'm a walking death sentence if I go out.
CherryMaple · 13/03/2020 21:07
I don’t think a tickly throat is a symptom of COVID-19? People should stay home if they have a new continuous cough.
GA2012 · 14/03/2020 07:24
@Wilmalovescake when did I ever mention about staying/not staying in or complain about it. I’m home most the time anyway. Stay at home parent to two dc with additional needs. Don’t get out much so not much different tbh.

My dh thinks I have it too
I’ve got cough, high temp and a splitting headache.
I don’t think I have it, but I’m self isolating anyway.
chinateapot · 14/03/2020 07:34
Cough or high temp - you should definitely self isolate. You’ll never know if it was covid or not (assuming not sick enough to need admission). You may well need to self isolate more than once.
Sore throat - not particularly associated with covid 19. Be sensible as for any bug
