Would you ask him to stay away?

My son is currently visiting / staying with his girlfriend (Was due home Sunday) and she’s just started symptoms of what’s probably a cold but has a headache, sore throat and slightly bunged up.
Do I ask him to stay away and stay there until it becomes clear what it is?
I have health issues and also work with vulnerable others so I really can’t afford it to be in this house if possible.

The symptoms are a new persistent cough and a high temperature.
That sounds like a cold.

I agree with you but do we know if the cough develops later or is it always the first symptom?
The girlfriend hasn’t been here for 2 weeks and my sons not seen her for a week so there’s no chance whatever she has has been in this house yet.
Trying not to be paranoid!

It’s not him that has anything though but now may have been very exposed to whatever it is, so I’ve not been exposed, yet.

I would ask them nicely to stay away.
