If you had mild symptoms of a virus on and off for over a week (chills, achey, generally unwell) would you self-isolate? Dh has same symptoms and has decided to wfh, cancelled meetings or doing phone calls instead.
I have jury service next week and rang the court to ask what to do if I'm still unwell. They've said I should see how I feel over the weekend and ring them next week if I'm not better.
I'm stressing a bit about getting jury service over with and being well to take my mum to oncology followup appointments, there's a lot of planning and travel involved etc so I accept I may be overreaching atm Hmm

Can't you get out of jury service if your mum is having cancer treatment/follow-up? I think I would tell them I am not well and not doing it, and then write a follow up and say you wish to be excused because of your mother. They may give you a year's delay or let you off altogether.

Can't you get out of jury service if your mum is having cancer treatment/follow-up? For better or worse I deferred once (for the same reason) so can't again. And I'm not plotting to get out of it really, I'd be happy to just get it out of the way. I'm afraid if I'm ill they'll just want me to come back in two weeks, which brings it quite close to when I'll need to travel.
I'm not especially hand-wringy generally but I think all the uncertainty is making me a little crazy.
