Trying to get some perspective here as I am in a higher risk group and trying not to panic too much. I have not heard of any cases in my area, nor have friends/realtives living in other parts of the country. (I do realise there have of course been cases, and deaths).
I don't know how many people look at Mumsnet in the course of a day but it must be a fair few and all over the country. So. Does anyone on here actually know someone personally who has a confirmed case of coronavirus or been asked to self isolate? Have they recovered? How old are they? How long have they felt ill for?
We have tickets for our local theatre for Monday evening and I'm trying to decide whether to go or not. As I said, there have been no reports of illness in my area.
