I am really upset that in my affluent suburb of London the supermarkets are being overwhelmed by people buying all the toilet paper, tissues, pasta, baked beans, paracetamol etc. I am really worried that elderly people are having to make repeated trips to the shops to get basic supplies, thereby risking their health. There really is more than enough food to go around, but people are latching onto certain things and going mental buying them before anyone else gets a look in. Then the shelves are empty until the next delivery and everyone pounces again.
