Covid
What are we to do if we think we have it?

I currently have the worst cough I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm having a coughing fit a minute. It's very heavy on my chest, I'm wheezy and short of breath. I can breathe, just not as much I am self isolating. I live near Brightons 'super spreader' and share the same GP. Just carry on self isolating I guess? What happens with needing to take the kids to school during self isolating? They're both poorly today so they're not in. But hoping to be back to normal on Monday...

You don’t take the kids to school. You isolate the household. No point in people coming in and out of the house if you think you have the virus.

You self isolate with the kids, especially if they’re ill too. They might have the coronavirus but mildly. Advice now is to only call 111 if you’re feeling so ill that you need emergency treatment, otherwise stay at home and rest.

As Pp has said. You self isolate and if you genuinely think you have it others in the house should also self isolate. The guidance sets out all the measures you have to take within your house. You are not allowed out (other than into your private enclosed garden)

If you are having breathing difficulties though you should contact 111
