School has a link to Coronavirus but hasn’t disclosed it..

Exactly that, my DS comp has a teacher self isolating because his DW and DD has corona virus after visiting Italy in the half term. He has been in work but self isolated as soon as they were diagnosed. I found this out but surely the school should release a statement? How can we make decisions without all the facts? Doesn’t the head have a duty of care to staff and pupils?

I'm a staff member and our school also has a link, no instruction from our Principal other than notification of a staff member in isolation. Imo the school should have closed for a deep clean but there's been nothing, in fact pupils are reporting that there's not enough soap!

It’s shocking isn’t it.

But other schools have shut. There is a help line for schools and parents.

If you can I'd keep any child off.
