Are there any medics that can advise on treatment at home?

As more families are affected by Covid-19 and the NHS becomes more stretched, I'm wondering what we can do at home to alleviate symptoms.

Whether there are any practices early in the virus that may help prevent more severe symptoms from developing and whether there is anything we can do for the more severe symptoms, if waiting for medical attention.

Isn't Pneumonia usually bacterial and treated with antibiotics? There's no such treatment for this.
