Hi
Just wondered what happens if you come done with a temperature and/or cough a few days before your due to go on a mini break abroad. Government tells you to self isolate for 7 days so you miss your holiday. Will travel insurance pay out?

Depends on the type of insurance you have
If you have declared all medical issues and have a doctors note off sick I can’t see why not
But i would expect them to try and wiggle out of it if they can

Travel insurance doesn't cover pandemics. So probably no. I'd give them a ring and check.
