Do I quarantine my dc from school as there is no one else to take them? School are not going to like it but I don't want them going and spreading germs right now so do I have grounds to keep them home from school with current guidelines?

I would keep them home. In my opinion these are exceptional times and the usual rules don’t apply.

Id keep them home. Stuff the school! having a mum is more important.

I'm going to phone school as DD1 has woken up with a cold.

Just to update school said keep them off so we are all self isolating now.
