I was really hoping schools would close, but they’re obviously not. My 5 year old has multiple health issues, including asthma. He has been in hospital and admitted a number of times with quite bad breathing difficulties.

I’m going to be speaking to school tomorrow about pulling him out of school. I was just wondering what other in similar situations are doing?

And is your school supporting your choice?

In your shoes If I could do it without losing my job, and possibly even if I did, think I would keep my DC off school.

Thanks for the reply, Dozer.

I am fortunate enough to work from home and am self employed, so this isn’t an issue.

Looks like I will have to take the step to keep him home.
