unpaid leave due to schools closing and UC

Hi does anyone know if I take unpaid leave due to no childcare and school closures will i still receive my universal credit or will it be sanctioned?

I think they made some changes in yesterday’s budget, fairly certain there will be no sanctions applied. They are cancelling job centre visits temporarily and I think there is a claim form on the government website if you have to be off work sick. Try messaging your work coach to see if they know what to do in your situation.

Thanks, I'll do that - I couldn't find much info online about it and dont want to use a years worth of annual leave by April!
