Coronavirus and smoking - should I quit for this reason?

According to this, smokers may be 14 times more likely to get it. But is the risk of a) getting it and b) dying as a result, low enough to make this 14 times not a lot really? Or is it a major risk? How does it compare with the risk of, say, lung cancer? Should I quit, JUST for this reason? My DH and son smoke too.

There's literally no good reason to not quit.

I vape. Give it a try.

Getting lung cancer or copd isn't enough of a reason to quit? I watched several relatives die long, agonising deaths from smoking related lung cancer, and it's horrific. Quitting now may spare you from this hell. The choice is yours.
