Compulsory isolation for coughing- what about chronic coughers?

This idea that soon people will be told they must isolate if showing any signs at all e.g. just a mild cough, is worrying me.

In theory, it's very sensible.

But what about those with longterm chronic conditions that cause symptoms like coughs? Thinking asthmatics. Or those like one of my DCs with ongoing chest issues. If you cough more days of the year than you dont, it absolutely doesn't mean you have coronavirus...but essentially you won't be able to work/attend school anymore??

Who said there's going to be compulsory isolation for coughing ?
