Will ski trip to the French Alps be cancelled?

Year 9 dd has a skiing trip booked for the 3rd April. We're very unprepared and haven't bought anything yet but surely it's bound to be cancelled right?
I think the school won't cancel until official advice is not to go because otherwise we will all lose our money but the way things are progressing in Europe I really can't see it happening...

What would you do?

Pretty sure it will be cancelled.

Buy the stuff and keep hold of the receipt to take it back if cancelled

I think they should be making a decision now about cancelling, it's only three weeks away
