I’ve been exposed and I’m anxious

I have a serious lung disease. A few days ago, I sought medical attention and was admitted to hospital. I’ve been discharged and since found out one of the medics tested positive. I was with them, receiving medical care and personal contact for about an hour.
I’m in the incubation period so it’s an unknown if I’d get it.

oh @Flamingnora2020, so sorry to hear you are unwell, wishing you every bit of luck and sending as many healing vibes as possible in your direction. (((hug)))

It's one thing if you feel too ill to look after them, but I see no reason to keep your kids away if it's to protect them from it. If you have been living with them in those 6 days of incubation, they will have it anyway and will also need to go into isolation. It's incredibly infectious. Not possible to live in a house with someone and not get it. You may as well be together if it's making you more anxious. They are unlikely to suffer anything other than mild symptoms anyway.

@Pluckedpencil
It’s a difficult one. Yes they have been exposed but I’d prefer to limit it further. They’re with their dad and he has them probably 25% of the time so I’m used to them being away, just being silly.
