I had a flu about 5 weeks ago along with middle ear infection causing dizziness. Went to the doctor and got meds. Eventually got over it, dizziness took about 4 weeks to go. I still have a strange cough that is worse in the cold weather.
Working today as normal and I was sent home for coughing. Told I have to wfh until its gone. The first case of CV in my country was only confirmed about 2 weeks ago and I have had this cough for 5 weeks.
I'm glad they are taking precautions necessary but would have preferred if I was told prior to coming in to WFH, rather than having to leave the office in the middle of the day.

They probably don't want to take any chances. You'll find people probably complained about your coughing. Tbh I'd hate to have to listen to coughing all day. Also people are weary when someone coughs, best then to work from home if you can.

It’s the way it should be, precautionary and sensible.

I am the same - had a cough since nasty cold and chest infection at christmas - I reckon I am not using the bottom 15% of my lungs as they are gunked up - sound like a smoker!!! We are currently under vol isolation so we shall see what comes out of things
