Hair Washing

All the stuff about hand washing & sanitizing - I'm doing all that. I'm just a bit worried about hair washing, and haven't seen anything about it.
I usually only wash my hair once a week or less, and co-wash rather than shampoo (curly girl method).
Bit concerned as to whether I ought to be cleaning it more often, or even going back to shampooing with coronavirus about?
Has anyone else changed hair washing routines?

The reason people used to wear scarves and hats over their hair (besides fashion, religion and no central heating) in old photos is because the air was disgusting and personal hygiene generally lower. Ash falling from chimneys, smog, horse smells, lice of all sorts, body grease etc. If you could only wash once a week, you're going to try to do everything possible to keep it clean, partly to stop the dirt transferring onto soft furnishing at home and also to reduce how often you have to wash clothes. I don't think a corona virus would even figure in there!
