Birthday celebrations this weekend WWYD

We’re having a family celebration this weekend which will include elderly parents and young children. Husband wants to postpone to avoid anyone catching the Coronavirus (mainly because they’ve been told today to cancel events/meetings etc). I don’t want to let everyone down that’s looking forward to coming and think that unless we are self isolating we should go ahead. What do we do?

I'd be carrying on as normal unless anyone attending has recently returned from a coronavirus hotspot.

I would postpone.
We all need to get our heads around social distancing, as unfortunately this virus can be spread before someone shows symptoms.
Not worth the risk, however small, people are dying from this.

I’d carry on but probably mention to people that are coming that you understand if they prefer to stay away .

We're in exactly the same position. It's my son's birthday and he's really excited about it so I don't want to cancel but I'm telling everyone not to hug/kiss and also am going to allocate people to hand out food rather than let everyone put their hands in it (it's a buffet).
