Putting aside what he’s going to attend it’s still a large gathering with a plane ride to a highly infected country. Tbh excluding Italy there isn’t anywhere worse he could go in Europe at the moment. He could be responsible for making your baby poorly.

Just make sure he stays away from the family for 2 weeks on his return.
There are a few places in Spain now where they are trying to control the spread.
Even 2 days can see a change, they might not allow them in anyway.
