Like many families we have booked to go abroad at Easter and have been looking forward to a much needed break.
I understand the travel insurance position regarding ‘essential travel’ and following gov guidelines, but I’m less clear what happens if we inadvertently come into contact with a Covid-19 infected person before our trip and are required to self isolate. Would we be covered by our travel insurance or lose the cost of our holiday? (All of this assuming we are not in lock down.)
