Are flights to italy cancelled?

I care for some elderly people and another carer was due to go to Italy tomorrow. They are still needing cover for their shift but I am unsure if she is just taking time off now or actually going to Italy. I won't wanna be around if she actually does go to Italy? Or is it irrelevant now its here?

Yes they're cancelled. If she does go to Italy then she will need to self quarantine when she is back so you'll be fine even if she gets there

It depends on the company. BA has cancelled all the flights to and from Italy, other companies haven't yet

I've just seen that Ryanair have finally bowed to the inevitable and cancelled flights. So I don't think anyone is flying between the UK and Italy now unless there's the odd flight to evacuate foreign nationals.

Or you could go via Innsbruck or Zurich if you have the right papers to cross the border.

Hopefully she didn't go then as as far as I am aware she has only arranged cover for her time away not for after?
I asked in group chat if H was still going on holiday and elderly couples son replied 'Of course she is, why wouldn't she be?'
Err ok then.
