How can we assume that the UK will follow China's CV-19 pattern?

The UK hasn't built any new hospitals. We're not locking things down. We're not implementing anything to try and contain this virus or reduce it's spread.

Didn't China act quickly? - maybe we'll do something eventually, but we're not following China's example at all.

So how can we assume that (despite the huge impact of CV-19 in China) we'll get off as 'lightly' as them?
