If I have symptoms how long do I self isolate for

14 days from the first day of self isolation, or 14 days from when I feel better?
What if I have symptoms for longer than 14 days?

You can phone 111 to check.

For now, 14 days starts after known contact with someone with it or higher chance of having it (e.g. just travelled here from Italy).

The government may change this advice in the next 10-14 days to say self-isolate if you experience mild cold symptoms (as reported by the BBC). I assume this will change when the reported cases meet a critical level.

Have you had definite contact or have significant symptoms?
