To think everyone will start hating on anyone with a cough

The government have just said that within two weeks, anyone with a cold or a high temp should self isolate. This is pretty surreal right? Anyone with a cough or a sneeze will be made to feel like a leper!

I have copd always cough will just be ignoring any bad looks although have had a few but with copd I'm thinking if I get corona I'll know about it. But I'm not overly concerned think chances of me catching are low but then I don't get anxious over things like this.

Try coughing and be very obviously Asian looking. I carry sucky sweets on me now as dry/cold air/dust kicks off coughing/asthma so I can't really predict when it's going to happen - although judging from my recent coughing episodes it only seems to happen at the worst possible moments

surreal, op? I'm thinking of words along the lines of 'incompetent', 'infuriating', 'mindless', 'ludicrous' and 'risible'.

Have they even stopped people travelling to Italy yet? Or Tenerife? Or anywhere in SE Asia? Until they do that it is bloody ridiculous telling everyone with a cold that they need to self-isolate.

Even if I get sent out of work (and therefore won't get paid, won't be able to pay bills, etc etc) no way will I isolate anywhere else. Fucking stupid Britain, one rule for the poor, one rule for the rich as always. I owe it nothing.
