Is anyone avoiding the gym due to *you know what?

I usually have to motivate myself to go. I use the machines and mats. I currently have free time and want to go, but am a little afraid. Could wipe everything I use before and after with Dettol wipes, and obviously was my hands well. But I'm aware that people sweating on machine seats, might make it more of a risky area. Plus, my gym is definitely attracted by people who travel a lot. Think city- centre, corporate hub gym.
Any thoughts? I don't want to be this anxious about normal life for the next 18 months. Do I need to get a grip and carry on as usual?

Gym yes with wiping and antibac on hands, but sauna / pool no as I heard a scientist on LBC saying how viruses love humidity. Plus I don’t really enjoy them so it’s not a loss to me.
