I need some perspective here. I have health anxiety at the best of times, and dp's job already takes him to conferences and meetings with people from all over the place, and I'm a bit worried generally atm.

So this weekend he is going on a plane to the other end of the UK to see a football match. I'm not keen on either the air travel, the train once there or the large gathering of people. He thinks I'm being ridiculous and that we can't live life in fear. I agree with him to an extent, but I am of the opinion that we shouldn't be taking any chances right now.

I would have put this in Aibu, but I see all the Corona threads are here now. Would genuinely like to hear your collective thoughts.

Hi OP. I have anxiety quite badly so can definitely see your point! I worry myself so much over everything, especially health matters. But your DP is right I think. I am sure be will be fine. There are risks with most things that we all do on a daily basis. But you have my sympathy as I'm am often a bundle of nerves!
