Why don't you read a newspaper? Or at least their online sites? Or watch the evening news?

The Middle East is a very big place by the way.

If you want it explained to you rather than having to read about it I'd suggest this on BBC Sounds, R4. Recent series about the current Isreal/Palestine events.

But stop thinking there's a thing that you can characterise as 'the solution'. It's far too complex for that.

The Israeli Jews & Palestinian Muslims have been killing each other over their competing claims to the same land for centuries. Killing each other is an integral part of their history, mindset & culture. It’s just what they’ve always done, so they know no different. Gen Z are outraged because think all the killing started in October 2023. Everyone else is bored with it all.

They haven't been killing each other for centuries. It's only the last 80 years it got bad in the Middle East. It was a hell of a lot worse in Europe.
