Conflict in the Middle East

When people volunteer to put themselves in danger to help others it is the most inspirational and most worthy thing a human can do.

I saw a brief interview with her and I don't think I've ever seen a more (for want of better words) a more hollowed out person. Exhaustion didn't even seem appropriate. She looked like she could just see exhaustion in her rear view mirror. Brave woman.

Some times Doctors Without Borders get a bad press as they often employ locals, who may or may not be part of the insurgency that is causing the mayhem.

Never the less, they have been one of the charities I have supported for many years now, and will continue to support.

I think Dr Victoria rose is extraordinarily brave & extremely lucid.
The brief look on her face of utter disbelief that was quickly extinguished yesterday after an idiotic question from Susannah Reid on breakfast TV, was something to watch. She's a very attractive media figure and is utilising that with multiple interviews on the state of Palestine. But she's telling us as how it is is deliberately neutral Language without to trying to a apportion blame which is so hard to do.
I loved her working relationship with the wonderful Dr Graeme Jones in Gaza too.
