IDF: Remains of Kfir and Ariel Bibas ID’d, 3rd body sent by Hamas isn’t their mom Shiri

They are scum. They want endless war. They don't care about anyone but themselves.

Tumbleweed…

It's terrible - heartbreaking for the family and so much worse than saying something like her body is trapped under rubble etc. I can't imagine where her body actually is and Hamas actions mean the family will now be imagining all sorts of horrible things.
It does seem that peace will be even harder to achieve but Israel's response from the outset has been escalation which - aside from indiscriminately killing thousands of innocents and Hamas supporters - only endangers its own people all the more.
Who knows where that's heading now Trumps in the mix.

Thank goodness someone has come along to tell us that it's all Israel's fault on a thread about Hamas returning an incorrect body. What a rare treasure you are.

OP - I am actually not sure whether it's a deliberate provocation by Hamas or whether it reflects the awful chaos of 10/7 - the Bibas family was captured and held, if I understood correctly, not by Hamas but by another terrorist group. Did that group keep hold of them through the next few months? Where were these bodies stored, in which conditions, and was it among other bodies etc? Malice or stupidity?

whereaw · 21/02/2025 06:27

I am not surprised because that is what these people do, and who they are. I am beyond angry at Hamas and all of their (many) apologists.

whereaw · 21/02/2025 06:28

Why would Hamas let another terrorist organisation watch their most valuable' hostages or why might they just say that they did? No words. I can't even look at the story.

nitrofueled · 21/02/2025 06:33

That entire region is just one big cluster fuck where everyone is just as bad as each other. Always will be sadly.

statsfun · 21/02/2025 06:36

Unbelievable cruelty.

No. It doesn't. Surely you see now that the level of Jew-hatred and malevolence of Hamas and their supporters means that nothing Israel does or could do increases the danger of their people. It's already there.

The only thing Israel can do is stop them from carrying out their twisted, evil desires.

ThejoyofNC · 21/02/2025 06:37

Hamas are not human beings. They are dangerous, radical monsters. They must be stopped.

Dilbertian · 21/02/2025 06:40

If you recognise that Hamas are not interested in the well-being of the Palestinians, but that their driving objective is the destruction of Israel and the extermination of Jews - and, for that matter, the punishment of Israeli Muslims and everyone, Jewish or otherwise, who supports or co-operates with the State of Israel - then their behaviour makes terrible, gruesome sense: disrupt the ceasefire. Do anything that will trigger Netanyahu's ghastly hardline government to escalate retaliation. And then stand back and say "Woah, that's a bit over the top! Look, international world, at how evil these Jews are!"

Twiglets1 · 21/02/2025 06:42

I’m disgusted by it all. The locked coffins, making a spectacle of the handover of the bodies and then to find out one body isn’t even the right one… just awful.

dairydebris · 21/02/2025 08:00

My thoughts are mainly where is Shiri? I cannot imagine Yardens despair 💔... could she even be alive somewhere? But surely Hamas would have mentioned?
I'm also thinking of the mood in Israel. After the awful display, the honor shown when the hostages were back in Israel, the horror of finding out Shiri not there, then the attempted bus bombings. I imagine I'm only feeling the slightest of their heartbreak and fury.
None of these terrorists want peace or happiness for anyone. They just hate Israel. And that so many people here can align with the terrorist view of the situation... I find it awful beyond words.

TicketyBoo11 · 21/02/2025 08:13

…and the children were murdered a year ago and kept in caskets as a bargaining pawn. Forensics have confirmed that just this morning.
Scum.

AniBocha · 21/02/2025 08:19

I can't get the image of little Ariel (looking out from his mother's arms with a dummy in his mouth) out of my mind. The fear on Shiri's face as she holds them.
My gd. For hamas to take them like that
Evil beyond belief.

Allthatwegotisthispalebluedot · 21/02/2025 08:35

My thoughts (I wrote some of this on another thread about the Bibas family) are that it is grotesque. I cannot fathom the despair of Yarden Bibas and he has been almost a constant presence in my thoughts over the last couple of days. It was some small comfort to think that at least Shiri was with her two sons and now that is no longer the case. I do not have the words for how awful that is. It is beyond comprehension to take two tiny babies hostage. It is evil.

I am terrified for the fragility of the ceasefire. Killing thousands more Palestinian babies won’t ‘right’ this wrong but that is what will happen if this war continues. That is also beyond my comprehension. It just feels so utterly hopeless and absolutely bleak today.

💔

DogBiscuitsInPocket · 21/02/2025 08:42

This latest act by Hamas is pure evil.
How can the ceasefire hold?
It must be utterly desperate for the families of the remaining hostages.

Yep!

So to that end, none of this is surprising.

AniBocha · 21/02/2025 09:06

@ThePartingOfTheWays what is surprising is so much of the world supports them.

On and on with every new sick turn they still have support.

EasternStandard · 21/02/2025 09:24

I agree with pp it's unbelievable cruelty
