Does the BBC news to change its Gaza Israel can to conflict in the middle east?

Are we reaching a point where from a journalistic point of view there needs to be a broader approach to conflict in the middle east. It could very well be we are in the agree before a wider regional conflict that could be extremely complex and involve both state and non state actors so the reporting has to be broader in scope.

Also with the extension of the conflict do we all have to acknowledge ithat the middle East situation is complex and can't be simplified by sloganeering? I know many acquaintances that could be described as pro Palestinian now becoming more distant from the conflict as they look at the wider geo political situation and have become more aware of the existential threats to Israel in the region which have been omniprenst.

The cease fire callers are now less vocal as a ceasefire now needs to encompass three parties , Hizbollah, Hamas, Israel and potentially more. As rockets reign down on Israel I think many students for instance are starting to think their protests about Gaza were a little disingenuous. In retropsect.

The opposite of this is true. The calls have ramped up considerably due to the escalating conflict with Lebanon. This is certainly true for the government in England who have repeatedly called for a ceasefire in the last week. BTW i also don't understand the thread title.

I gather what you are saying is that now Israel are going to kill thousands of Lebanese and turn it into the new Gaza the BBC should change the focus away from Gaza, even though this population is going through a humanitarian catastrophe.You also think that people are now starting to think ‘oh poor Israel being forced to bomb all these civilian areas’ .

Its not only just begin journalists, buildings and Gaza lived under Hamas with UN budgetary concerns. Focusing on carrots and not now occupied fields ask Hezbollah. Everybody Iran destroyed for no good soup.

More distant from the conflict yes. Many do realise that there are quite a little of terrorist groups in the countries around Israel, funded by Iran that want to wipe Israel out.

That Iranians were recently arrested before a planned terror plot in the UK means showing support for what some term resistance fighters is not great. People are used by terrorists and their propaganda.
