Well done the Met for your courage in doing the right thing.

Police arrested more than 30 pro-Palestinian activists in a pre-emptive operation designed to prevent disruption during Saturday’s Pride parade.
Scotland Yard said the group had been held on Saturday morning on suspicion of conspiracy to cause a public nuisance.
Saturday’s arrests - which are believed to have been intelligence led - come after Scotland Yard has come under fire for not doing more to stamp out anti-Semitic behaviour by pro-Palestinian activists since the October 7 Hamas attacks.
In a statement the Metropolitan Police said: “This morning officers arrested 33 individuals in Jubilee Gardens, Westminster on suspicion of conspiracy to cause a public nuisance. All are currently in custody.”

So it's true that they can actually.make.arrests.
Where were they when proPalestinians were threatening and abusing Jews?

How appalling that Jewish groups feel they can't take part. Pride organisers should have been robust and insisted they were very welcome & they would protect them.

It must irk pro Palestinian supporters that there are other things in the world and the fact that LGB rights aren't far up the agenda for Arab nations. At points during the debates on Palestinian dress in etc. LGB oppression has been voiced as a concern.

Pathetic to be honest. They don't arrest them when they're at it every week but all of a sudden when "pride" is threatened, they do something.

Apparently some synagogues and Jewish charities are pulling out because of safety concerns, which is just really depressing.
