I am sorry but Labour has a huge deal to do to expunge anti semtisim so blocking a candidate who exhibited this trait knowing full well the party's view seems right.

I don't understand the outrage against a candidate blocked for not following the parties values?

I think that maybe she should have been given a chance to explain herself and ask forgiveness. If she genuinely didn't know she'd liked the tweet it seems a bit of a harsh punishment.

I was under the impression it was more than one tweet though? This article only mentions one? Not sure why she made a comment about what message is being sent to her community. Why are they more important than the message being sent to the Jewish community if she were allowed to remain a labour candidate without an explanation regarding her actions? Weird.

I don't understand why she commited political suicide. I think in the modern Labour party you know the consequences of suggesting or implicitly suggesting there is a Jewish world conspiracy. The apology was superficial at best and she compounded the problem by calling the party Islamaphobic for simply standing against anti semitism!

Ironically she has been replaced by a Jewish woman as a candidate.......karma?
