It has been reported that Hamas had no prior knowledge to the festival taking place as the date of the Nova festival changed last minute. They found out by drones and parachutes on the day.

Do you honestly think America's leaders were saying anything different in 2001? Do you think Arab leaders have been saying anything different about Israel for the last 75 years? It's the Middle East, there is always lots of rhetoric and strong language.

I agree that some of the far right Israeli government ministers have no business being in government as far as I'm concerned, but Israel has its own internal problems and over half the population wanted Netanyahu out a long time ago. To hang onto power he got all these extreme elements to form a coalition.

Everyone wants the war over, the hostages back and Hamas out.

Yes it's been horrendous and any death is horrendous, let alone the amount there has been, but the constant stoking of Israeli and Jew hatred and painting Israelis as monsters does not help the situation.

I would be saying different. So have many of the families of the victims of Hamas and the hostages of Hamas as they have been protesting for a ceasefire. Most human beings do not want blood revenge to the point of killing every man, woman and child of the same ethnicity of a group of attackers that murdered members of your family.

Stop justifying genocidal intent. Stop conflating the private reaction of a grieving person with the public call to arms of a political leader who should know better and be better.
