Whats the earliest that a breastfeeding mummy has got pregnant again???

Only because I have been breastfeeding my 8 week old daughter, and have used it as contraceptive (since she was 3 weeks lol!) but have felt hot/tired and had tummy cramps for the last few days, last time that happened I was pregnant with her! Wouldnt be a disaster I might add!

Also, she only feeds every four hours on average! And sleeps now from 12 - 6am!

I thought that for bf to act as a contraceptive you needed to be feeding every 3 hours even through the night.

I know someone who fell pregnant at 4 months whilst eBF.

well, i breastfed for 18 months and got pregnant about 2 days after i stopped!!

I got pregnant when DD was 18 wks whilst exclusively BF.

Not judging you (I got back to it after a couple of weeks) but having sex so early after birth can cause infection and it is entirely possible that hot (esp if you are actually running a temp) tired and crampy are all signes of a post birth infection.
