Suggested methods of distraction whilst patiently waiting to TTC....

I think that I am going to go mad waiting for my DH to get over his FOF and come around to the idea of TTC. I need some good distractions to get me through the next 8 months!!

Plan a nice boozy holiday, lots of expensive presents for you, get healthy (apart from when on holiday) and plan lots of nice things to do that you may not have the freedom to do when a little one arrives. Worked for me for 6 months x

I have been waiting until after Christmas since May 2010!!!

I am coping by
buying LOTS of "getting pregnant" books on ebay
Have got my thermometer ready to chart
and ovulation sticks at the ready for use in the previouse months...
and am watching every CBFM on ebay determined to get a bargain one...

i am on my last packet of the pill then we are using condoms,
OH does not want to try before our planned time, so im hoping that once i can get to grips with charting etc we can have some condom free sex for the days after ovulation each month.... but have not convinced him of that yet

Next week i am stocking up on folic acid / zinc / sanatogen pronatal, and for the month before TTC we will both be having our "conception" multi vits.

Oh and we have booked a week in a 5 star hotel together to look forward.... hopefully our next holiday after that i will be pregnant!!!!
