Mid cycle vaginal scan today - no sign of ovulation or imminent ovulation - any advice?

Been TTC no 2 for two years now. Decided to start the ball rolling with getting checked out

Have been using OPKs and line was getting stronger - although not a positive result up until today where it was fainter than yesterday

Am on CD 15, have had cramps etc and was very hopeful consultant would see something -but nada...zilch..

I know we don't produce eggs each month or maybe it was that I'd ovulated right after my period ...

So, am I writing off another month or is it possible it was there but he didn't see it??

Meant to say, up until today line was getting stronger until today it was fainter and no positive readings

Puss you are obsessing you know? I was told by my consultant that according to all scans and blood tests I never ever ovulated. Then they did a lap and dye and saw the egg sac

Medical science isn't everything. If you are having LH tests showing up lines, things are happening. Eggs are very very small. Please stop fretting. You will not get pregnant by wibbling!

Not necessarily. Did you not see the scan onscreen - it's murky in there and not all that clear. A good sonographer should do, but not always. Besides, LH would fall if you were pregnant!

I still have that book you know, honestly, it really helped me understand the whole process.

Why are you rationing sex - you need to do it every three days. You know how this works, not everyone ovulates in the middle of their cycle. Come on Puss, you know this.
