Erm, I got pregnant 6 weeks after coming off mine, so not in a position to say

Can take blimin ages... while your hormones sort themselves out. Eat healthily, exercise moderately and eat less refined sugar (I sound like my mother) if nothing happens go to your GP. Mine stopped when I came off the pill but turned out I had PCOS and the pill had been masking it for years. Good luck, it's probably just your body sorting itself.

In a word, no.

If your periods were irregular prior to taking the pill this irregularity is likely to resume after stopping it.

I would seek medical advice sooner rather than later in your case as the pill leaves your system very quickly after taking the last tablet. The pill too can mask symptoms of any underlying hormonal problem (which the pill did not cause); in this regard a condition called polycystic ovaries is a common culprit (one in five women have PCO). That may be why your periods have ceased.

Do seek answers asap and find out why this has happened.
