Hi Ladies,

I haven't been on for a while, but I'm back and concentrating on TTC for a March baby (if I conceive I could be due on my birthday which would be lovely )

Bye for now xx

Rockbird · 12/06/2010 10:33

Testing on the 25th and not a minute before so if you see me on here waving sticks, slap me!

Hi bbp. I was born on my mum's birthday and my mum was born on my grandmother's birthday so three generations of women born on the same day. It's a mixed blessing

almostknockedupgirl · 12/06/2010 11:42

Hello ladies! Due to the arrival today of my first post-contraceptive period, I think I might actually officially be trying for a March baby. So, erm, hope it's OK if I get on board?

Welcome nearlyknockedupgirl I jumped off the bus and grabbed your wine, hope you don't mind? I need it for all the SWI we're doing at the moment, to get my spirits up . There's some here if you change your mind and Good Luck! Let's hope it's as lucky a bus as the Feb bus; loads of BFPs over there!

Do you mind if I ask how long it took before your AF came back after you stopped the pill? (I am presuming you were taking the pill) A close friend of mine came off the pill 3 months ago and is worrying because she hasn't had a period yet.

8rubberduckies you're welcome to it! I didn't plan to give it up so soon, but my DH seems to be taking quite an interest in my health nowadays! (Either that, or he wants it all to himself!)

And I was using the mirena. My period came the day after I had it out (but I think I was still having them even while it was in, and it was due). So no idea about the pill, sorry!

Hi theteasonme. Great name!

I have redone Sunday's stats with me sitting quietly at the back. Actually, that's a lie, since I've got the wine and cocktails going on back here! I'm giving up cycle days, etc, as it makes no sense with me!! rubberduckies - i think i'm pleased that PCOS is confirmed. Cos it means we know what we're dealing with and we can work with that. reckon it would be worse if it wasn't PCOS and then I'd wonder what on earth I was meant to do!!

I was taking the pill and had a proper AF 5 weeks after coming off. But that was it!! Only proper one I've had, so don't think my body is a reliable comparison for your friend It is said it can take up to 6 months to settle, but i think within a few monts is far more common.

I am now 6 dpo, so the frantic imagining looking for implantation signs is about to begin.

8rubberduckies · 14/06/2010 09:44

Hi all, still no sign of OV, so looks like another mammoth cycle for me again... .

Prinpo · 14/06/2010 12:07

Morning all, hope everyone's doing well.

Not sure what's happening to ov this month. I normally get a very specific ov pain, which is a useful indicator of when it's happening. This month, however, there's been none so far. I have EWCM, though, so hoping all well.

God, this is taking forever. Sorry to sound like a broken record, but we've been trying for a total of 2.5 years now for number 3 (2mcs along the way). I've spent so long either pregnant or trying to be pregnant recently. Please could Jim fix it for me to just get pregnant and for the pregnancy to stick.

Erm, actually the thought of Jim having anything to do with fixing that has made me feel a bit nauseous. Need to go for a lie down...

rockbird after I eventually ovulate I am intent on not symptom spotting this month or EVER AGAIN. Symptom spotting is where evil lies. I was on edge for the whole 10 days waiting and not a joy to be around. Let's make a pact and woe betide if either of us spies the other symptom spotting on this or any other thread...

Rockbird · 15/06/2010 11:26

Right No symptom spotting or mention of symptoms. And no getting out the tests 8 days early just to practice weeing!

ljg72 · 15/06/2010 11:34

YES!!! Rockbird! I'm with you on that one!...have be driving myself and DP crazy this month with POAS of every type!!! symptom spotting, charting, temps, mucus etc...you name it...I'm doing it! and not forgetting copius amounts of BD'ing!!! poor DP has nothing left, and is in need of a bag of frozen peas me thinks!.
Don't think I even ovulated this month due to MC last month...will be 4 weeks on Friday, and I'm sure AF is on her way (evil WITCH) or is that me and my seriously BAD mood!.
Hope she shows up soon if she's going to come, and at least I can have a cup of CAFFINATED!!! tea, and maybe a glass of pink fizzy wine!!!OOoooohhh.
Get me I soooo know how to live!.
Feeling much calmer now! sorry to rant ladies!.
Hoping to see lost's of BFP on this thread very soon...and if I don't make the grade...maybe next month...keeping fingers, legs, arms and eyes firmly crossed for all XX

Orchid12 · 15/06/2010 11:52

Hi peeps,
Been busy at work so not had chance to post - although have been reading your posts .

All a bit calmer in our house this week after the job situation rocked us last week. DH has joined several agencies etc so we feel more upbeat. I'm determined to stay positive after our initial wobble. Life works out if you believe it will and I'm sure we'll be fine. If anyone is selling/renting a house in a big city in the East Midlands then give me a shout and my lovely DH might be able to help (will give details out off this board!).

So, we're coming up to SWI time at the weekend. Think I'm due to OV this time next week. Have been an added Evening Primrose Oil to my cocktail of morning pills to take. Am armed with preseed too! My chart looks way more promising this month (and last month) than it has done for ages so I think my hormones may be settling after giving up BF in Feb. I've come to the conclusion that my body is a sensitive old soul and it takes a while to sort itself out after any sort of a change. Fingers crossed that things looking up for us. DH has just given up alcohol this month (what an evil witch I am making him give up when the world cup is on!!!) so I'd like to think our lifestyle changes will pay off soon.

So, that's me really. Just waiting for the action to begin . Feel very calm at the moment, and really want this feeling to continue as I'm bored of feeling down when I hear about other people's PG's etc. Am going to join the pact not to symptom spot - it's too draining!

prinpro good luck - sounds like it should be your turn soon.

Prinpo · 15/06/2010 12:23

Hello everyone,

Hope to hear of some BFPs soon. Not sure this will be our month. DD2 has acted as a very good contraceptive on a couple of key nights so we've not done as much SWIing as I would have liked. Perhaps that's not a bad thing, though. Does anyone else have a lingering image of Jimmy Saville from the other day...? Just me then?

Rockbird, whatever you do, don't keep your legs crossed. It doesn't help the process. Oh God, someone stop me, I'm morphing into Jim Davidson.

OK, back to normal. Count me in on the no-symptom-spotting pact. Sounds like a very sensible idea and I absolutely will not imagine sore boobs, nausea or anything else. Honest, I won't.

Orchid, really glad that you're feeling calmer after all of the upset. How did you get DH to give up alcohol during the world cup? Very impressive.

Well, good luck to the rest of you, but I'm symptom spotting like crazy. No way I can stop! This month's chart looks disturbingly like last months, and nothing at all like my pg month - that one was already looking triphasic by now. So I'm not feeling particularly positive to be honest.
