Congrats mad - that's great. A line is a line, so they say, so I reckon you are definitely pregnant!!

orchid - i feel for you, but would certainly go ahead with whatever is being offered to help. Like Mad said, you can always change your mind later, but it may take a while to get back on the list. These appts do take time to come through, so you may feel ready for it by then. In the meantime, keep SWI - miracles happen and sometimes we overanalyse things!

Totallyfloaty35 · 23/06/2010 19:47

Congrats on all the BFPs.Orchid i have had 3 laporoscopies so far(i have endomitriosis) its an easy op and quick recovery so dont worry about it at all.
Well even though DH changes his mind more than his undies i shall cling to the hope that our one solitary shag has resulted in a pregnancy and start peeing on sticks in ooooh about a wks time
I have been known to poas while AF was present!! just in case my body was confused...

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 23/06/2010 20:48

Totallyfloaty that has really made me chuckle

sillybillymummy · 23/06/2010 20:53

WELL DONE mad , Big Congratulations!! Really excited for you - yes if theres a line then you are definitely pregnant!

My DH is doing me proud, we have started practising!
Feel a bit like i've bullied him into it.. but he is now saying, he wanted to check we were doing it for all the right reasons, not just because i am SUPER broody!
He also thinks he's being used..! As i haven't been that interested for the last year, but I blamed the mirena for that!

Feeling very scared now its starting to be a reality.. especially since this bus seems to be very lucky x

BUnderTheBonnet · 23/06/2010 21:09

Woot woot go ladies And the DHs too, of course.

Prinpo · 23/06/2010 22:22

sunchild and mad, fabulous news! Could you tell me which loo you've been sitting on as it's clearly a lucky one. It's lovely to hear of so many BFPs in the last few days - let's hope it's the start of things to come.

ljg72 · 23/06/2010 23:26

hear, hear Prinpo!! will miss this bus, it's been a blast x

8rubberduckies · 24/06/2010 13:05

Hi all, hope everyone is well and enjoying the ride.

I have a question for all you ladies taking Agnus Castus - how much do you take? Am I only meant to take it in the first half of my cycle or all the time? I have bought some 1000mg tablets and am taking one in the morning. Does anyone use EPO as well?

If I don't OV by this time next week I'm going to have to hop off and go over to the April bus, and hope I have more luck there

superpenguin · 24/06/2010 14:07

hello everyone,
this bus is doing pretty well I reckon.
who is due to POAS next?
I may do so over the weekend although not due til Monday.

Orchid12 · 24/06/2010 14:11

Hi ladies,
Thanks Miffles and Floaty - I think I'll see how the next few months go as ironically the pain seems to be much better this month.

Am passing round some nice cold pims given it's so lovely and sunny. Anyone care to join me?

8 - I can sympathise with your frustration - I've not ov'd yet either and am CD20. I take 2x1000mg agnus castus every day - started those in Feb/March. This month I also started taking 1xEPO (1000mg) too. Without wanting to sound too gross - I have noticed a vast difference in EWCM this month. Is that what you wanted it for?

Orchid
x

sillybillymummy · 24/06/2010 14:25

I wouldn't even know if i've OV?
Starting to think it was a bad idea finding this bus, because i'm becoming a bit obsessed!
I just came off the pill and got pregnant with DS1 & then DD2, i didn't even realise i was pregnant, went for a dating scan the week i found out and was 9 weeks! So wondering whether this is going to be a LONG pregnancy now! (especially if it doesn't happen for months to come!)
not really sure how to update list, is it a case of just copying, then changing everyones CD?

8rubberduckies · 24/06/2010 14:49

sillybillymummy that is exactly what you do, but as we have had some BFPs you'll need to put them down as graduates too. I have found I am a lot more obsessed with ttc since joining the buses. It is a double-edged sword, as I find I get answers to ttc questions and lots of support that I do not get in RL (people, including dp, just don't understand ) but at the same time I am spending an unhealthy amount of time obsessing, when maybe I would not if we were just swi and seeing if AF turns up or not.

Orchid12 I thought I may start taking EPO as I know it's a good all-rounder for "lady's issues", but do not really know what it does specifically for people in our boat. I think I read somewhere that you shouldn't take Agnus Castus once you have OVd, anyone know if this is true?

Mmmmmm, EPO = more EWCM eh? Can only be a good thing.... I just hope I never get to the stage of obsession demonstrated by certain people on FF who post photographs of their CM on the internet for all to see (pls see Feb bus for more details)

Mylittlebubble · 24/06/2010 16:42

Did I read that right! Someone has posted a pic of their EWCM on MN?

Miffles · 24/06/2010 21:23

8 - i am taking angus castus. I was recommended to take it as a tincture - which is a liquid that you add to water. It really doesn't taste bad, and it is absorbed into the body more easily. The bottle recommends 1ml 1-3x daily. 1ml of liquid is equivalent to 500mg. And I'm doing morning and evening - so equivalent to 1000mg everyday. It does say not to use in pregnancy. HOWEVER (and I'm sure others may disagree) on the 2ww, your blood supply is not connected to the baby, so I am very much of the view that i'll keep taking it until I have a confirmed BFP. It takes a while to have effect - and not sure how useful it would be if you were on and then off it. We know that from ov it takes a few days to actually embed in the uterus. And for me, anyway, there is such a slim chance of actaully being pg. I need all the help I can get to get a regular cycle.

WRT EPO, this is meant to be good as it contains omega 6. BUT (sorry, I am a bit scientific and medical and read up on lots!) omega 3 is meant to be really good as well. It is possible to overdose on omega 6 if you don't balance it with omega 3. Flaxseed oil gives you a really good balance of omega 3 and 6 (and 9 thrown in too, but not sure on why you need that!). And again, I'll keep taking these until proved otherwise!

Hope that helps and doesn't sound preachy. Can't give any advice on EWCM, ov, or even POAS....still a way to go yet before i'm at that stage!

Going to reflexology tomorrow - meant to help regulate cycles too. In for a penny in for a pound

busymum05 · 24/06/2010 23:05

omg im the same..ive never really worried about when ive o'vd but since joining this bus i said i wouldnt be charting or checking cm but guess what ive been charting and checking for cm and ive even brought ov tests off the internet..lol ok so think i may be starting to obsess, god help me with the 2ww...

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 25/06/2010 07:42

Well, looks like this is my stop...

AF arrived this morning in my shortest ever cycle (25 days?!) and I now now the answer to the preggers or bonkers question >

Still, at least I can enjoy a pimms or two in the sun now .

Ladies , I wish you all absolutely oodles of luck And BFP's all round and I sincerely hope I don't see any of you when I join the June bus later in the year!

Prinpo · 25/06/2010 09:36

Ladies, I have undertaken the gargantuan task of updating the stats.

8rubberduckies · 25/06/2010 09:54

Well done prinpo!

Thanks for all the info miffles, it was really useful.

I still haven't had any sign of OV and have started spotting overnight, I'm really confused! I know it may be because I'm OV although I've never spotted mid-cycle before), or AF could be really early (in that case, don't think I will have OVd at all this cycle). Will just have to wait and see I think.

mylittlebubble the EWCM photos can be gound on www.fertilityfriend.com. I am a member but have never, ever been able to bring myself to look in the photo gallery. There's some weird s%$&* out there, watch out.....

Totallyfloaty35 · 25/06/2010 10:55

Prinpo, you are FAB to update...i did think about doing it but got so confused i gave up

stuffedmk · 25/06/2010 11:27

AF due Tues. I'm going to test on Sunday as that would be the same DPO as I got a positive last time.
I am feeling really tired and have had headaches on and off for a few days now but I am trying to remind myself that it is probably just the heat.
Was quite chilled out a few days ago....not no more lol

Orchid12 · 25/06/2010 13:59

8 I only take AC until OV and then stop. Same with EPO. Haven't got into using flaxseed for the post OV phase yet though...Advice is conflicting so do what you feel is best for you

sillybillymummy · 25/06/2010 14:34

Thanks Prinpo That was a mission!

Busymum05, glad you feel the same, it seems a bit mad to make myself think about it this much! There is something wrong about counting how many days until i can test, when i haven't even concieved yet!!

BUnderTheBonnet · 26/06/2010 09:38

Counting how many days until you test? Before SWI is even over? Surely not....

Come on, admit it ladies, how many of you ahve already counted ahead to, if you did conceive, when you could announce it at work, or how many weeks pg you'd be when you go on holiday etc........

I can't believe it's only me that is insane likes to be prepared.

almostknockedupgirl · 26/06/2010 09:44

Morning all!

Congrats to all the BFPs! Fantastic news for all of you!

I'm ovulating today, so a bit shagged out. Hoping I can maintain my sanity over the next two weeks!

Well done on the update Prinpo. I'm on my crappy phone so can't right now, but will pull my weight later!

Good luck to those at the front of the bus! Fingers crossed for loads more BFPs!
