Hi,
i had a contraceptive implant taken out in june 2009, and since then ive had 3 periods, my last being in dec 09.
my husband and i would like to try for another baby, but as my periods have virtually stopped im not sure if i can?

has anyone else had this problem...did you get pregnant?

You ovulate before your periods so it is entirely possible to get pregnant before they start iykwim, but may be hard if you do not know when you are likely to ovulate.

Maybe you could visit your GP for advice?

Hi,
i have been to the DR's and they said just to give it some time. I had an implant in before this last one for 3 years and my periods came back within 3 months of having it out.

thanks for your advice

I would just carry on having sex when you feel like it until a) you get pregnant by surprise or b) your periods come back and you can try with a bit more of an idea when you are fertile.

Its only been a few months though, I wouldn't worry too much

Hi,
ive had some hormone level results back and apparently i have ovulated in months..no suprise there!
I know that my thyroid level has been low as the doctors uped my dose.

im just worried now that thats the end of me having another baby.

Does anyone know if theres any tablets or help i could get apart from being referred to a gaenocologist? (cant spell it! lol)
