My friend is shitting herself - she's about to start fertility treatment with her DP and when she was 16, her boyfriend was unfaithful and gave her herpes
Since she first found out, she has never had any flare ups and now is 32. She had put it to the back of her mind and had hoped that it had just gone away (her mother made her feel really ashamed and dirty for having an STI even though it wasn't her fault) but now obviously she is a bit concerned about it.
She is going to tell her partner as she doesn't want to lie to him any more but she really doesn't want him to find out by them asking questions at the clinic (their first appointment is tomorrow).
Can any of you reassure me that she won't be given the spanish inquisition?
