I tested on a hunch at 11dpo, and got very very faint "is it there or isnt it" lines on several different IC. Then yesterday I did a couple more tests and got almost nothing, so chalked it up to bad tests. Then this morning, the witch didnt arrive as I expected, so I peed on some more, and got more lines, darker (I think) than 11dpo. So I did a clearblue +/- test and there is a definite line, but its really skinny, not fat so I'm doubting its real. I dont know how I can be pregnant, as DH has had the snip almost 2 years ago, we did have sex the day I ovulated (I keep a close watch on my cycle as its irregular and I like to know when to expect AF) so I suppose there is a microscopic chance.

what do you think? am I just getting dud tests?

No, you're not getting dud tests. You are pregnant. A line will only show up if there is HCG in your urine and there will only by HCG if you are pregnant.

Is that congratulations?

faddle · 13/05/2010 09:36

you dont think I'm bonkers then?
we are saving for the vasectomy reversal, so if I am pregnant I will be quite literally over the moon.

A line is positive no matter how faint..
Congratulations

Hi there, I got a faint 'is it or isn't it' line on 2 FR tests on CD24 of a 28day cycle.

That was 29weeks ago and I am most definitely fat now .

faddle · 14/05/2010 09:17

well it looks like they must have been dud tests, as my period has started right on time this morning. I had at least 10 IC sticks with faint lines, and 2 clearblue, both with a skinny blue line.

I got faint lines several days after I expected my period and searched all the similar threads to yours on mumsnet....I am now 9 weeks!! Didn't let myself get excited because I was worried the weak line meant it was a weak pregnancy but had a scan and seen my baby with a really strong heartbeat!! Congratulations.

vinauchocolat · 14/05/2010 11:29

Congratulations. Even a really faint almost invisible line means you are pregnant.

BessieBoots · 14/05/2010 11:31

sorry to hear that faddle... Hope you're okay.

honeynutloops · 14/05/2010 11:32

My very faint, so faint you could only see it if you held it up to the light and squinted, is now fast asleep in her cot aged 17 months!
Congratulations!

honeynutloops · 14/05/2010 11:33

Cross post - sorry to hear that faddle.

vinauchocolat · 14/05/2010 11:46

so so sorry faddle I'm such an idiot I read the thread too quickly. That's really weird about the tests. xxx

faddle · 14/05/2010 12:25

well AF hasnt really arrived properly yet, no cramps, only light spotting. Here are some photos of the tests - can everyone see
the lines on these?

No joy on the link I'm afraid

faddle · 14/05/2010 12:31

sorry
here

Copy paste the link... it does work.

LittleSilver · 14/05/2010 12:37

OK, well imho non-expert opinion, the ICs are positive and the CB is an evap. Personally I am not a fan of CB and don't buy the brand any more. The others def look positive, no question! Congratulations!

faddle · 14/05/2010 12:40

I must say I didnt trust the CB as the line was so skinny, but def. blue and came up towards the time limit. I did another one yesterday evening and got the same thing.

OP posts:
faddle · 14/05/2010 12:42

oh, and AF has vanished again. Not even spotting now. WTF? I'm so confused. The IC's are 10miu sensitivity, and the CB is 25miu, not sure if that makes much difference though, I would expect my level should be over 25 if I'm a day late.

I'm afraid I don't see lines, where should they be? I might be looking in the wrong place/

Would it be easier to just go and buy a digital test?

BessieBoots · 14/05/2010 12:53

I can see the line on the bottom test, but not on the others...

missseptember · 14/05/2010 12:56

Could be just implantation bleed perhaps?
I agree about buying a digital test, at least then you won't be worrying 'are the lines there or not'!!
I can see lines on the tests you've already done though!

Pootles2010 · 14/05/2010 13:13

I can see the lines, can't see how it would be implantation bleed (because that would mean implantation happened after you got a positive test, if you see what i mean). However plenty of people have little bleeds in early pregnancy don't they?

I think this is just a wait and see... not easy i know! good luck!

hippychick66 · 14/05/2010 13:27

Internet cheepies - hope I'm not being insensitive - but arn't the green ones ovulation prediction and the blue ones pregnancy??

waitingforbedtime · 14/05/2010 13:35

I dont see lines, sorry. My internet cheap ones werent green but Im not sure that means anything?

sarahmia · 14/05/2010 15:05

cant see lines, but i had implantation spotting after faint positive. so it might be that. and my sister in law always says, a line is a line.
