Ok if I remember rightly they do two tests anyway about 6 weeks apart!

Did he also test for Factor V Leiden? It is similar i tested neg for anti phos but positive for factor V Leiden and it is so much more common!

thanks julez.
hmmm its looking very unlikely tbh.
Although with ds i had pre eclampsia, he had growth retardation and premature birth.

Just clutching at straws, desperate for answers i spose

oooh dont know, the blood card was almost impossible to read, will look up my results next week.

Julez, what was the treatment for the factor V Leiden?

hmm with DS1 I too had pre eclampsia, IUGR and he was born 10 weeks early! Well mine progressed to eclampsia was a horrific time.

DS2 however was born at 38 weeks by elective section. When I fell pregnant they put me on 75mg of aspirin daily and I also had to inject 5000iu of Fragmin (form of heparin)

Have done it for the last two preg's as well which ended in mc so I am awaiting further tests now
