September is a month of new beginnings, maybe we'll have some new beginnings of our own. Hop on board the September Bus and let's see where it takes us.

congrats to the BFP, i'm really happy for you all! x
hi nymphadora i've been ttc for over 4 yrs, after blood tests, scans and an HSG (i think thats what they call it) they found out i wasn't ovulating either, my gynacologist perscribed me Clomid. i'm on my 3rd cycle of this now and i had a blood test on day 21 last month and found out the Clomid is working and i now ovulate. i'm back to see her next week for more tablets and also to see if i have PCOS.
fingers crossed its as simple for you and they can give the tablets too.
good luck to all ttc xxx

bunnygirl80 · 08/01/2010 06:21

Congrats littlewhiskerscat points sounds like we have the same reasons for holding off testing. My New Years resolution was a ban on symptom spotting and early testing so am definitely waiting until AF is late and I can go straight in with proper test!

nymph I'm sorry your results weren't great. At least you're on the road to being properly investigated so you can get some answers and hopefully get that much longed for BFP sooner rather than later.

jollster I love the way you're always up so early with the stats. It shows real dedication to the smooth running of the bus!

randomimposter · 08/01/2010 08:57

up so early with DS more like... .

Sam's been a great stats bunny too. I just have to set my alarm earlier and earlier to beat her to it... . (oooo, I remember the days I had to set an alarm to get up...)

Am still not seeing any signs of AF; which is confusing and just making me start to build up my hopes... not good... anyway 48 hours and I will test.

Hope all well and not too cold.

nymphadora · 08/01/2010 15:02

Sent dh to hosp today anyone know how long results will take?

legallyblond · 08/01/2010 15:16

Glad things are getting investigated at least Nymph... I have heard horror stories of people giong to see their gp to request a deferral and being told that they must have been ttc for over a year in order to be referred. But you're "only" on cycle 4, so that's good, or didyou go private? Also, no need to answer if I am being excessivly nosey, but how old are you...? You really don't need to answer, I am just trying to get to grips with the link, if any, between difficulties ttc and age - I have NO idea as none of my friends have babies/are ttc, so apart from what is on the NHS website (probably not to be relied upon 100% I suspect), I don't know. I am 27 (which I had thought was on the young side), but who knows.....

Just staring the 2ww now... sigh!

x

randomimposter · 08/01/2010 15:19

27 IS on the young side legally(butgenuinely?)blonde.... I'll be 42 next birthday!

legallyblond · 08/01/2010 15:29

Pretty genuinely (dark) blond, but assisted by highlights! Definately blond-brained though.... despite (or becasue of?) being a lawyer...

randomimposter · 08/01/2010 15:33

wait til you get mummy-brain .... mush I tell you, MUSH!

nymphadora · 08/01/2010 16:30

legallyblond not private just a nice GP! Whether hosp will do owt without waiting a year is another thing. It's partly cos of the gynae history too

kawaiiko · 08/01/2010 17:22

Hello all, no news from me. Just wanted to check in and moan about the major migraine I have brewing

Nymph I have my fingers crossed that you will get your dh's results soon! And that all goes well with your referral.

Legally I've just turned 29 which felt young until I found a photo of me as a baby with my dad with his age at the time written on the back. 27! With a baby! And my mum would have been 25! Makes me realise what a late bloomer I am

I have vowed not to symptom spot this month as I swear last time I made myself ill, and may even have delayed af with my fretting. It also helps that I am really bad with numbers and so keep forgetting what day I'm on!

SamanthaB123 · 08/01/2010 19:53

Hi All,

This month feels like it has taken an age to pass...still only day 24/8dpo (or maybe 10dpo depending on the accuracy of ff). For the past several days, I have had on and off nausea, have been sleeping excessively, have tingling breasts and need to wee every two minutes. The nausea is horrid. And in the back of my mind all I can hear is a nagging voice saying 'It's too early', because it is. It's too early to feel like this and too early to test. Hmmpph. Needed to moan, sorry .

And in my heart I know that there are no guarantees...feeling like this doesn't actually mean that I am pregnant. It just means that I feel all of those things. Hmmpph again .

Nearly cd25...unless you count day one as the first day where there is sight of blood, rather than the first day of heavy bleeding, which would make today day 25 and not 24. And then tomorrow would be day 26. Which day does everyone else count as day one? SB

beckylou85 · 08/01/2010 20:04

nymphadora when DP went for his test we got the results back within a week but that was doncaster hospital. luckily the problem is just with me not him. hope his results are good.
good luck to all ttc xx

Cazzr · 08/01/2010 20:39

Need to jump off the bus i'm afraid as have been put on strong antibiotics for a chest infection and it's not advisable to get pregnant whilst on them... Will board the October bus when AF arrives.

Good luck to all those left, congrats to all the BFP's.

nymphadora · 08/01/2010 20:48

SB - when bleeding started.

Thanks Beckylou & Kawaiiko

lucylev · 09/01/2010 08:22

Morning all,

AF still hasn't arrived and no signs of it, will grab another test today and do in the morning

Any other news from the frount of the bus?

Still snowed in here today and so icy everywhere think i'll give work a miss and stay in the warm

randomimposter · 09/01/2010 10:13

lucylev am also planning to test in the morning... had a bad night up with DS (ear inflammation/teething/Tigger infection ) and spent much of it lying on his floor, then crawling to spare room bed, then back ad infinitum... and thinking (or dreaming?) that I had AF pains... But have woken up with nothing.

Am trying so hard NOT to build hopes up. And don't really feel pregnant. But where oh where is AF?

Hope you are all keeping warm - some more snow overnight here - still icy and white out there!

pointsmakeprizes · 09/01/2010 10:56

good luck girls, hope you get BFP's today. Only 7dpo for me.....

beckylou85 · 09/01/2010 15:44

Hi all, I got 10 ebay cheapies yesterday and couldn't resist testing. BFN I'm not even late and I don't feel pregnant (even though I don't know what that feels like). Oh well, lets just hope it was negative because i tested too early.
good luck to all ttc xxx

lucybrad · 09/01/2010 18:38
