BFP but not feeling hopeful, any words of wisdom welcome... TMI alert

I got BFP on the day AF due but also had and still have, three days later, blood tinged discharge (looks like old blood but varies from brown to almost pink).

Did another test yesterday which was still BFP but I'm thinking could have been residual HCG. I now have same discharge and vague not quite cramp and backache.

What's the MN view, chemical preg or the real thing? Be blunt, I can take it....

Hi emskaboo just thought id let u know my story I found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago and by my last period should have been 7 weeks started having very bad cramps then bleeding (light pink and brown in colour) went to dr and found out that i was only 4 weeks (ovulated late) and the pain and bleeding i was experiencing was only implantation going for a follow up scan on thursday to make sure things are progressing the way they should be and by then should be able to see heat beat so not all pain and bleeding is a bad sign. Im hoping for some positive news for you too. All the best xx

Hi emskaboo - I had five days of implantation bleeding last year - couldn't believe that I would actually be pregnant at the end of it as it seems to never stop, but I was!
If it's just discharge then it sounds like implantation bleeding to me! Will keep fingers crossed for you...

Bleeding seems heavier, a couple of small clots. I'm going to do another test. Wish me luck.

Well still pregnant, at least according to the HPTs, but still colured discharge in varying colours, brown through pink. It's like a dulux colour chart. I'm still cautiously hopefull but god this is odd.

Hi emskaboo - I had similar with #3, up to about 12 weeks. Dr's thought it probably wasn't a viable pregnancy, and that I wouldn't stay pregnant, but everything was ok, not sure why it happened.
