Welcome to fotheringhay

Oooh, get you with your facial Ozzie I've never had one before, what type was it?

Just at the beginning of the 2ww now zippy so, at least a couple of weeks wait - if I can hold out that long!

I've managed to stay pretty laid back and relaxed about it all this month. I haven't written any findings in my personal diary and have just DTD as and when we felt like it around my fertile time. We'll see what happens in a couple of weeks...

Does anyone else attend any fitness classes or the like? I go to a fairly aerobic class a couple of times a week and began to feel a little uneasy yesterday about all the jumping about and what that might be preventing from happening inside me, am I being silly?

Immaterial, no, I haven't heard or read anything from blue for a while now. I was lurking being nosey on the June bus yesterday and no sign of her there either. Hope all is well with her too.

Here's hoping the resent BFNs were due to early testing

Ozziegirly · 16/09/2009 12:40

Oo, it was a lovely facial - it was a dermalogica one. I've only had a couple before - my skin has previously been pretty good, but since coming off the pill I"ve been having a few spots and it's been looking a bit dull, so I thought I'd treat myself.

It was lovely, even DH said I looked good (his actual words were "pink and glowing"). I'd definitely have another one.

And as for exercise, I go running a do weights in the gym and in the 2WW I do wonder if I should take it a bit easier as well.

zippys · 16/09/2009 13:37

Never thought about the exercise affecting things I have only just rejoined the gym, do running and weights and other cv work then do aerobics with friends. You would think our bodies would be made to be ok with though -wouldn't you?

A facial sounds a lovely idea, after hearing that I may book myself in as my skin has been a bit weird recently - it is always a good excuse to get pampered!!

Just to make you feel better claire I have a confession - I have an application for my iphone which records fertile times, when I have AF, and then can record moods discharge etc. Not got to fertility friend stage with temping etc but I am sure it wont be that long

fulhamgirl · 16/09/2009 13:47

heya ozzie!!

I could do with a facial lol!! Hope you enjoyed it. Erm as for taking it easy im not to sure really on that issue if I was u though I would take it a little more easier just incase but I think your body tells u your limit in some ways !
Wish I had your energy!!!

Heya Claire yea dont do a me and test nearly a week early lol so impaitent.
Its just these symtoms im getting reall y not good!!

My BF is taking my hospital in a bit pains are to bad. Its in my back as well.
Im hoping its not an infection as my CM is really bad worse ive ever had. Im bloated as well mood swings u name it I have it lol!!

Hopefully they will be able to see whats going on.

My friend told me you can feel some discomfort in your left side as the egg is going through the fallpoean tube which ive never experienced before!!
Has anyone ever heared of this?

Heya Imma when are u going to test again?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

zippys · 16/09/2009 14:11

oh you poor thing, I really hope you get some answers at the hospital.

x

ImmaterialGirl · 16/09/2009 14:12

fulham sounds really bad I'm so sorry -I hope they can tell you what is going on at the hospital! Sending lots of happy thoughts your way...

I'm going to wait for my period now I think, and if it's not here at the start of next week I'll test then.

I had a facial years ago, was lovely! You girls have inspired me to maybe have another one soon...

fulham hope you feel better soon sweetie!

ImmaterialGirl · 16/09/2009 17:04

Well ladies, I'm off to the airport, will try to check in if I can over the next five days, but may be a bit sporadic (also don't really want a 'mumsnet -conception' thing in my parents' computer browser history...)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you testing (myself included ), and see (well, sort of) you all next week!

CurlyCasper · 16/09/2009 17:33

hi all and feel better soon ful. Have a good trip imma.

This afternoon I've been having sharp "pulling" pains behind/below my belly button. Does this mean anything to anyone? It's a new sensation to me. Answers would be appreciated, please!?

CJ2007 · 16/09/2009 18:03

curly that sounds really encouraging as I've seen that referred to as an early symptom....
I'll keep my fingers crossed
x

claireinthecommunity · 16/09/2009 18:05

Oh fulham hope all is sorted out for you soon.

Your facial sounds lovely Ozzie, let's hope your DH is saying you're glowing for another reason soon

So, lots of us are continuing to exercise to the same degree as pre TTC, that makes me feel reassured. I have however been sitting out from time to time in class where before I wouldn't of, maybe that's as fulham suggested my bodies way of letting me know its limits.

Well zippy, you are technically advanced with your iphone application I'd been recording my daily findings in an old fashioned paper diary I had thought about using my laptop calender or setting up some sort of spread sheet but never got round to it - sometimes I like just plain old pen and paper!

Wishing you a good flight Immaterial

No news from Curly yet today - hoping this means no AF to report and maybe a BFP soon??...

And hello to kkas and CJ

claireinthecommunity · 16/09/2009 18:14

And just to add, yes I have heard of the pain from the egg traveling down the fallopian tubes fulham, it's one of the possible ovulation pains that you can get. This month I felt some dull stabbing pains (on the left hand side) and AF type pains during my fertile time (in fact, I'm still experiencing mild AF type aches now).

CurlyCasper · 16/09/2009 19:33

I'm here claire! - had a whinge above about my new belly pains. No AF yet.

Pains moved down and then a tiny bit to the right. Hurts more if I pull myself upright and stretch backwards - it's as if some kind of muscle has been pulled/ stretched below my naval. Thanks for the encouraging reply CJ my own googling says it's either implantation or appendicitis!

claireinthecommunity · 16/09/2009 21:19

I completely missed your post Curly

No AF good and belly pain symptom sounding good

CurlyCasper · 16/09/2009 21:28

no worries claire. how you doing?

claireinthecommunity · 16/09/2009 21:58

Yeah good thanks, trying not to wish away the next two weeks (2ww), will try hard to enjoy life and not get too pre occupied...

Sorry I meant test tomorrow night

kkas · 17/09/2009 08:41

hi to you too claire nothing really happening my way... down to the BD soon though

fulham hope you're ok! we're thinking about you!

curly sounds promising girl! keep us posted!!!

zippys only thing about testing in the evening is that your urine may be more diluted than in the morning. then if you don't get the result you want, you might wonder whether it would have been different if it had been FMU? But you could always save up for the evening so maybe it doesn't really matter anyway? am all for you testing though - want to hear about that BFP!

imma have a great break!

fulhamgirl · 17/09/2009 09:41

Morning guys.
Just a quick update went to emergency doctors instead of hospital as didnt wanna wait for ages.
They cant see anything wrong but didnt wanna admit me just yet incase it is pregancy.
Ive just gotta rest and if the pain comes back again then admit myself to hospital.
The pain im getting is a bit like curly but instead its all around my tummy mainly in the bottom half though!!

Doctor said for me to test on Sunday. Been feeling very sick and could smell really strong garlic this morning lol!! Made me go green lol!!

Anyway still no news just happy nothing inside felt to swollen!!

Im keeping fingers crossed for everyone!!

Anyone got any symtoms to share?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

kkas · 17/09/2009 10:43

phew fulham was starting to get worried about you. just take it easy over the next few days honey and keep us posted

fulhamgirl · 17/09/2009 10:56

Thank you KKS will do!!

I am getting period pains now though so dont think its good news for me.

As soon as AF makes an apperance im gonna have a scan done just to check everything is ok.
