I'm feeling a bit odd at the moment too, but I am full of cold so that has calmed down my 2ww symptom spotting as I am putting most oddnesses - real and of course imaginary - down to the lurgy! I am also tired but am still on MN instead of being in bed asleep! Night Night!

Ladyemmalou83 · 04/10/2009 23:23

Night Night Umbongo. Sweet Dreams

nymphadora · 05/10/2009 07:20

-ve here , never mind it's only day 27 & no idea how my cycle will last. Back to gp today for blood & bp tests. If it's still high will put my symptoms down to that!

How's it going firerise?

nymphadora · 05/10/2009 07:22

BTW does everyone tell their dp everytime they test?I want to test when he is here in case it is positive but he does think I get OTT about it

Hollyoaks · 05/10/2009 07:40

looby congratulations

nymphadora about your bfn but its still early days. I always have dh there when I test in case its a bfp. It did make me look like I was slightly crazy when we were ttc dd but that took us 6 months and only had one af.

nymphadora · 05/10/2009 08:15

I think I am looking slightly crazy anyway! Had gynae probs and every vist to gp involved a pg test so dp thinks they have brainwashed me!

sayanything · 05/10/2009 08:43

Congratulations loobyloo!

Tested today as well, although still about 4-5 days before AF and it was a BFN .

I was convinced I was pregnant, because I've been incredibly tired and just can't seem to get enough sleep, plus I spent all of yesterday in bed with a pounding headache.

Mind you, with my MC a few months ago, I only got a faint line a few days after my period was due, so maybe I just don't produce masses of HGC immediately. So maybe there's still hope.

Nymphadora sorry about your BFN, but maybe we should just test again in a few days...

kkas · 05/10/2009 09:28

congrats looby!

SnowBunny1 · 05/10/2009 09:59

Morning all

CD 52 here, DH ordered me to make a gp appt last night as he is concerned that something is n't right.

Decided to do one more test before making the call but wasn't holding out much hope and guess what BFP

It came up really quickly and was a really strong line although I don't get it as I did a CBD 1 week ago and it was a BFN. Thought that even if i was a few days early it would have caught it.

Please would someone add me to the graduates list.

Lots of luck to all the testers and those waiting to test

SnowBunny1 · 05/10/2009 10:03

Misshooha I meant to say, keep your fingers crossed and keep at it I had no idea when I was ovulating so just did it lots and hoped

congrats snowbunny fab news to brighten up a dreary day!

mabh · 05/10/2009 13:19

Congratulations Loobylou and Snowbunny !

Firerise, you and I have more than our cycles in common. I too sat in the loo at the weekend thinking, 'come on, I can feel you're coming', but no AF has shown up. I did do a test on Saturday but it was a resounding negative (why does it thunder across the strip, to come out in a massive marker-pen-thick bold line? Why not a thin, apologetic one?!). I still feel a if AF is on the way but still no sign. Tempted though I am to join in British POAS day, I think I'll wait until tomorrow.

I'm new at this game and have discovered that I prefer the 'oh I might be' feeling to 'no I'm definately not'! to the extent that I am reluctant to test... weird or what???

UmBongo · 05/10/2009 13:55

Congratulations Looby and Snowbunny mabh I tend to agree with you on the "might be" versus "definately not"! Although I feel incredibly Pre AF today, with ominous feeling in guts, so I think this month will be a BFN as well.

So therefore thought I would come on here for a rant as I think I will scream otherwise! Was in supermarket this morning with mother and ds, ds made a comment about another trolley that had a toddler and a baby in it and that he wanted someone to sit next to him! Mother came out with "oh - out of the mouths of Babes" - Has she forgotten that I broke down on her several months ago cos she asked if we would be having another on the very day that af arrived AGAIN. I know she thinks that we should produce another grandchild, I know she is getting forgetful but she can't have forgotten everything - she is only 65 ffs, not 95! I know she spends all her time worrying - I think her brain has used up all it's memory chips in worrying. AF is due again and I don't feel strong enough to say anything to her - so sorry for the long post but I had to tell someone and so you lot have copped it. Sorry

Lifeistooshort · 05/10/2009 14:15

Congreats looby and snowbunny.

Well my AF is due tomorrow or perhaps Wednesday or Thurdsay and I have not one chance in hell of a good news. But I still succombed to temptations and bought some boots tests because I just couldn't help it! i might test tomorrow. But I have no symptoms and feel no different. If anything I had some aches and pains on saturday and thought my AF was coming early. And I still have a bit of a temper but that might be because of my crap weekend...

mabh · 05/10/2009 14:16

Oh dear um bongo, sorry you're feeling rubbish. My MiL has asked some staggeringly inappropriate questions at times, often in public places. Stunned silence often results.

Anyway, one of MiL's absolute crackers on a non-baby subject: see the scene - all the family members are gathered around the table for Sunday lunch - MiL, two 40-something sons and (one very NEW!) partners, 30-something daughter and (NEW!) partner. MiL says, 'who's going to (nearest city) soon, because I need to return something?' Oh me, says strait-laced oldest son. ' Good, because I bought a vibrator from Ann Summers last week and it doesn't work'. Didn't dare ask in which way it didn't work...

Chin up...

nymphadora · 05/10/2009 14:41

and his response was?

mabh · 05/10/2009 14:51

...a BIG red face and a lot of muttering!

mabh · 05/10/2009 16:06

The Fat Lady has sung . I'm off the join the July bus...

Lifeistooshort · 05/10/2009 16:10

I'll probably join you tommorow mabh. Sorry to hear that though (but loved the MIL story)

givecarrotsachance · 05/10/2009 16:16

Not sure if I'm doing this right, but,

givecarrotsachange TTC#2, Cycle#1 (is this month of trying?), CD not available yet as not had AF since Mirena removal.
